Daddy Day 2011

I hope all the Dad's out there had a great Father's Day! For the third year in a row, we spent the day at the Tourist Club in Mill Valley. All the guys head there via mountain bike. They ride from San Francisco over Mount Tam, dropping into the Muir Woods where the Tourist Club is hidden. This is one of our favorite places to spend a sunny day and has become a Father's Day tradition.

There Goes the Last Six Months...

The first rule of blogging is to blog often. I now understand why. Lesson learned. Our little blog has suffered the craziness that is our life. I wish I could give each wonderful happening over the last six months it's own special posting, but I don't have the stamina. So, here goes, in a flash, a glimpse of what took place.

The girls learned how to drive.

Lila took up baking,

while Maya inspected our baseboards.

Our baby girl turned two,

and had a party with cousin, Thatcher, who also turned two.

And discovered the deliciousness of frosting.

They played with Poppy in his rock quarry.

And, said good-bye to our friend Nora who moved away.

We got inspired,

to plant beautiful flowers,

and play outside.

We celebrated Easter,

and they loved their Easter loot,

and spent the whole day with friends!

Speaking of friends,

sisters are the best kind.
