Four is a REAL Big Number

Happy birthday to my biggest baby who turned four back in January. She is very proud to be the same age as her pal, Nora, who's been four since August. Four is a REAL big number, don't you know?

January is not the easiest month to have a birthday. Enough said. To make up for it, we usually try to celebrate a little bit everyday of birthday week. This year we spent each day with a best buddy, had ice-cream and cake, went to Fairyland, opened presents and sang happy birthday over and over again and again.

We love you big, Lila Bean.

White-Out!

We were lucky enough to have a white Christmas this year. It dumped in Flagstaff which created some drama for us travelers, but otherwise was a ton of fun. The girls seemed to really enjoy it... okay, mostly Lila. Baby Sissy seemed to tread somewhere between delightful curiosity and sporadic sobbing.

Lila really wanted this to be a snow-woman.

Uncle Paul and Uncle Tom showing the girls how it's done.

Maya melting away. She's still adorable.

White-out on the Golf Course

Lila seemed happiest in the snow.

A happier moment.

What is Maya thinking here?

Eventually Maya realized sledding is fun.

Lila Bean going down for the 128th time. Thanks Uncle Paul!
