Happy Holidays from Flagstaff!

We spent our holidays in Flagstaff this year. The girls were very lucky to have both the Brown and Hicks family together for Christmas... Oh, and we had a VERY white Christmas too!

The Tooth Doctor

Lila went for her first teeth cleaning last week. I prepared myself for the worst but she was a brave little girl. She counted twenty teeth in her mouth which is a "real big number, Mommy." I'm happy to report she takes very good care of those teeth and received a round of applause from the dental hygienist gals. As we were leaving Lila said "Wow. Those guys sure do love teeth." The end.

Halloween 2010

Here's how our Halloween looked this year. Eric and I escorted The Little Mermaid and Dorthy around our very spooky neighborhood. Our neighbors REALLY get into Halloween. This was the first year that Lila was interested in trick or treating for more than five minutes. Not so much for Maya, but she was happy to people watch from her Red Wagon. Good times for all!

"Adults are only kids grown up, anyway" - Walt Disney

Disneyland. Oh my. We love you so much. Thank you Walt Disney for building this place. The girls went for the first time this past October. Maya is a little too young to fully appreciate it but I think she understood where she was. Lila was totally mesmerized. It was hot that day. The lines were long but evidently not too long. Our group was big which made it difficult to stay together - but this didn't really matter in the end. We had a great day!

We plowed our way through Toon Town and met Mickey, Minnie and Goofy. Uncle Tom was patient enough to wait in the "Princess" line for Lila which was the best part of the day. My favorite was when Princess Ariel asked her what she was going to be for Halloween and she said, "I'm going to be YOU!"

Thank you Aunt Margaret and Uncle George for treating our whole family to Disneyland! We are grateful and already plotting our next trip!
